What We Do

Modern dentistry and materials have allowed countless patients to keep their natural teeth longer in life, and in many cases, throughout life. If you’d like to retain your unique and beautiful smile for years to come, prioritize preventive and restorative dentistry. Once your smile rests on a solid, healthy foundation, Dr. Lindsey can address cosmetic concerns with integrity.

Prevention: Reducing your potential for dental problems.

Restoration: Repairing dental problems to restore function, health, and beauty.

Cosmetics: Focusing on front teeth for a smile that reflects the true You!

Comfort: Dental care designed for your peace of mind and body.

Your first visit should take about 90 minutes. The visit will include:

  • A private consultation in which Dr. Lindsey will learn about your expectations, concerns, and goals.
  • Updating your dental records with digital X-rays and digital photographs, as well as our assessment of your teeth, gums, and occlusion (how upper and lower teeth fit together).
  • Analyzing your soft tissues for gum disease. About 80% of American adults suffer from some form of gum disease, and the condition is the leading cause of adult tooth loss. Gum disease has also been linked to higher risk for stroke, heart attack, low birth weight, diabetes complications, Alzheimer’s disease, and dementia. Early treatment can reverse damage and deter recurrence.
  • Checking for oral cancer. With ViziLite, we can detect oral cancer early, which can improve the potential for successful treatment by 80%.
  • DIAGNOdent laser cavity detection. With this innovative technology, Dr. Lindsey finds tooth decay in the early stage, when conservative treatment is effective.
  • Assessment of occlusion and tooth wear. If you suffer from grinding and clenching your teeth, or if you have chronic headaches or migraines, your temporomandibular joints may be misaligned. Dental treatment can correct TMJ dysfunction and restore optimal occlusion for healthy, comfortable oral function and relief from nagging pain.
  • Diagnosis and treatment options. Dr. Lindsey will review her findings with you and provide an easy-to-understand explanation of your oral health. She welcomes your questions because the more you know, the wiser decisions you can make for treatment. We can also give you tools for good oral homecare, information about potential procedures, and guidance on any oral health topic.
  • Scheduling follow-up visits. Before you leave our office, we’ll reserve your next appointment at a convenient time for you.

If there is ever anything our team members can do to make your experience with us more rewarding, do not hesitate to ask!
